All in a Day

It's Thanksgiving weekend and the kids have three days off from school. Makes for a nice long break from school for them. (and me) This afternoon we went ice skating. Really, who needs to go to the gym when you can take the kids ice skating. I stopped putting Danielle's skates on and just let her go on her shoes, although she kept asking "Where are my ice skates". The KIDS had a great time...it's a very involved thing for me to do with the kids.
Taking a break and eating a snack. She is just one big pink hug marshmallow in this outfit.
A craft I have been spending some time doing with the kids. It started out as something they were going to do...and I thought I would quickly do a bit here or there but it ended up being a lot of me and a bit of them. I figured I don't get to spend that much time with them anymore so might as well sit down and spend a morning doing crafts together. We have tons of clothes right now waiting patiently for me to get around cutting them into rags (for the shop) but in the meantime, the kids find a lot of use for them, and that is where all the fabric comes from. All the little sparkles get off the shirts and are used again. What a great "green" craft.
Having hot chocolate AGAIN!! The littlest one asks for it all the time. Danielle enjoys riding her bike in the beautiful fall weather we have been having.
