Three...and she's across... and these are a picture of Niessa's hands. This is a girl that will wail when her brother kicks her leg at the dinner table and tries to convince us that she will be bruised for life, but will keep on going when her hands are so calloused and have open blisters, as she loves playing on the monkey bars. The last couple of days she kept asking to go to the park/school to go on the monkey bars and I was able to postpone it for three days not because I didn't want to go or have time, I just wanted to give her hands a bit of a chance to HEAL. So finally after church on Sunday, we went. I can't believe I let my child look like this in public. My kids can fly on these things, and I can't, simply can't do them at all anymore. I'll blame it all on the growing tummy, yup that's the whole reason.

It was off to the park. I needed some outside fresh air as I had been in the house, sick all day. I didn't know my body was/is capable of producing so much mucus. I'll spare you any more details...I hate being sick. I know who likes it, but I think some people are "better" at watching TV and sitting around than others. I keep thinking of all the things I would love to have the energy to do. At the park, Gerard did some kite flying, which the kids always love having a turn flying too, until it got stuck in a tree. Thankfully we got it out, since he has had this kite since he got it out of a tree when he was 9 years old. (and he says I keep stuff for a long time) One... Two...
