It has been TEN years to the Day that Gerard and I got married. December 16, 2000. What a snowy, rainy day it was! Wow, how does one sum at ten years, I can't and don't know really where to begin with so many highs and some lows. It is also 10:38 and I am by myself as he is at a council meeting so my brain is not working at the best either. I tried to get him to stay home with me tonight with everything I had...he said with a twinkle in his eyes that during his home visits, he/they often talk about how the devil tries to get a foothold in our lives...so I took that as a hint...and put my clothes back on...just joking, big just joking the kids were all up at 7:15 (I think I have a sister that is going to stop reading my blog now) but he felt he should go, and it's not like we haven't already celebrated.
So I am by myself which seems to be the case a lot lately and am getting sick and tired of it. Maybe I am getting sick and tired...but this week again (which was supposed to have nothing) has a meeting on Monday and Thursday, I told Gerard in the next eight days you are going to church 5 times...driving there, and back 7 times, you should set up a cot. lol.
This afternoon was the school Christmas concert. It was a really nice afternoon watching the K-3. Niessa walked into the church where it was held. Sharleen coming in.
Niessa did a great job of doing the important position of jingling the bells. I only got to actually see Sharleen a couple times as the audience moved,
and saw Timothy only twice. But that's the way it goes, we can't all have front-row seats and the kids were just so happy that us and Gramma could come. "see you later"
And now two weeks of the Christmas holidays start. My big hope is the baby does not come a couple weeks early as I hope to spend some time with them doing all the fun things I have planned. And then before I know it...it will be back to school.
